Patrik Lemberg was born in 1982 in Tammisaari (Ekenäs,) Finland, and studied music at Lappfjärd's Folkhögskola 1998-2001. He has played the bass, composed, arranged, and led various bands since early teens, including Fat Funk Force and the featured musicians on his self-produced solo CD's "tar" (2000) and Megalomania (2003.) Between 2002 and 2004 Lemberg also played a couple of dozen gigs with Finnish artist Poppa Joe King. Between 1999 and 2005 Lemberg reported 250 of his own compositions to Teosto. So far 85 of those titles have been recorded and are publically available. Due to physical complications Lemberg has been prevented from playing the bass since the early spring of 2005 (with the exceptions of two short recording sessions.) |
